3. Sensitive Personal Information
Case-related information may include sensitive details, such as injury, medical, disability, benefits, insurance, or legal-matter information. We use this information only to evaluate, document, transfer, service, secure, or comply with obligations related to the requested service.
4. Sources of Information
We collect information from you, your firm, claimants or their representatives, service providers, public or professional sources used for credential checks, and automated website technologies.
5. How We Use Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: Respond to inquiries, evaluate fit, match case opportunities, and support case transfers
- Communications: Answer questions, schedule discussions, and send service updates
- Documentation: Review firm information, maintain consent records, and document case-transfer activity
- Operations: Route submissions, maintain CRM records, track follow-up, and coordinate workflows
- Analytics: Measure website performance, diagnose issues, and improve content and services
- Security and compliance: Prevent abuse, comply with law, and enforce our terms
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Law firms: Case-related information may be shared with the firm receiving or purchasing a case.
- Service providers: Providers support hosting, analytics, email, form routing, workflow automation, CRM, security, and professional services.
- Payment providers: If a transaction is processed, payment data may be handled by payment and fraud-prevention providers.
- Legal and safety recipients: We may share information when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
- Business transfer parties: Information may be shared in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset sale.
We do not sell the same claimant case file to competing law firms. A receiving firm gets the information needed to evaluate and service that matter.
7. Sale, Sharing, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling
We do not disclose claimant case files for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use website analytics to understand site usage and provide privacy choices for analytics where required.
If we add advertising pixels, retargeting, lead-list uploads, or similar tools, we will update this policy and provide any required opt-out controls. We do not use automated profiling to make legal representation decisions.
8. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for site operation, analytics, security, and performance. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
9. Retention
We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, unless law requires or permits a longer period. Retention varies by data type:
- Inquiries and CRM records: Kept while the inquiry, relationship, or follow-up need remains active
- Case-transfer records: Kept for documentation, compliance, dispute prevention, and operational accountability
- Consent and communication records: Kept to document permissions, opt-outs, TCPA compliance, and related obligations
- Security logs: Kept for a limited period to detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect the site
- Analytics data: Kept according to our analytics-provider settings and may be aggregated or de-identified
10. Security
We use safeguards such as access controls, secure service-provider settings, encryption where appropriate, rate limiting, logging, and limited internal access.
No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you need to send highly sensitive documents, contact us first so we can coordinate an appropriate transfer method.
